Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories 'I'll teach you to stow away on Captain Hook's vessel Friends of Peter Pan, I'll wager' talking to Sora and company. I did report this to my Holiday Rep as soon as I saw him and he did try to see if there would be any recompense, but (surprise surprise) NOTHING DOING! I am taking it further with Thomson, as I feel we were misled about this trip. We couldn't see what was going on in the rigging, if there was actually any action there! All in all a very disappointing, dreadful night, and we were glad when it was all over. From the little we could see, it did get a bit boring after a while. The highlight of the night was the battle between two ships. More surprisingly though was that a security guard came over to them, and rather than directing them to stop, actually accepted a cigarette off the smokers. ![]() Smoking was not allowed on board, but yes there were those who flaunted the rules, and right in front of us. But by the time we had eaten, they had disappeared, so they could not address our issues (probably drowned in the aforementioned sea). The dinner however was acceptable, (though nothing to write home about) and this is where we caught site of 2 Thomson Reps. ![]() So unless we fought our way through the sea of humanity, we went without. In this location, we could neither see the entertainment, nor get access to any crew to get a drink. We moved to the front of the ship and stood the rest of the night, as the stools were then removed to make way for dancing to very loud disco music, and the ensuing pirate fight. Heaven help us if there was an emergency situation and we had to evacuate. It was uncomfortable to the point of being dangerous. To say the ship was full was an understatement. This were the 'pirates' did the first part of their cabaret, and if you were in the front row, (which we were, being one of the last to board), you had to be mindful of your knees getting knocked or your feet being trod on. By the time we got on, stools were being placed in front of the already seated guests, three rows either side in fact, leaving about a 4ft gangway down the middle. There was seating at either side of the mid-ship and more on upper decks. Booking through Thomson should have secured us priority boarding with the choice of the best seats. Definitely not as described in the Thomson booklet, nor by the Thomson Holiday Adviser, Firstly, it was very costly, about £82.00 ($117) per person. I felt duty bound to warn any would be pirate goers to be wary of this trip.
